Peaches are a round fruit, with juicy and sweet flesh. Its skin can be yellowish and reddish, and it can either have a velvet – like texture or it can be smooth. It originally comes from China and it was considered for a long time a symbol of immortality. Peaches were introduces in ancient Greece by Alexander the Great, when he came back from his asian campaigns.

Not everyone knows that it can also match perfectly with meat, fish and cheeses to create plates with an exotic taste. If you feel like being creative, this fruit is perfect with cinnamon, cloves, ginger, sesame, black pepper, vanilla, basil, thyme, rosemary and mint!
